My impressions of this mattress protector is it is your standard mattress protector no extra bells or whistles. The top part is cotton and underneath you can feel the protector piece but its not super loud or really recognizable outside of the appearance of it and the sides are a mesh material which I find is pretty standard with most ones like this one. The stretch on the sides is pretty nice too as it can fit my daughter's full standard mattress and box spring. Overall this was exactly what I wanted for my middle daughters bed.
Product was easy to install. Generous fabric was a great fit on my pillow top mattress; aided by the sewn in label showing which end was for the foot of the bed. There is no odor of petroleum product to disturb my rest. A great product, easy to use.

Mattress protector is just one of those things that everyone needs. This one is perfect for every day use and the consumer on a budget. Its affordable but works perfectly at repelling liquids and stains. We use it on our bed under a mattress pad and we have found it is waterproof and true to size with no issues fitting it on the bed.
